Impromptu: A Miami Beach Pop-up Performance Series
Miami City Ballet brings professional dancers into the Miami Beach community making the art accessible for all. The pop-up performances are choreographed and performed by MCB’s world-class dancers, offering audiences a fresh way to experience ballet in unique settings.
Initially entitled, To Miami, With Love, the series was born in response to the pandemic and the need for outdoor performance. The pop-ups were the company’s way of saying thank you to the communities that have supported MCB throughout the years by providing the healing power of the arts to elicit hope and resilience. This message continues today.
