Summer Dance Camps
Our Summer Dance Camps offers a rigorous dance training program for youth aged 7-15 in underserved communities in Palm Beach and Miami- Dade counties.
Launched in 2017, in Palm Beach County, the camp is taught by renowned faculty from Miami City Ballet and the artistic community. Children are provided with lunch and all necessary dancewear and supplies. The camp exposes children to a variety of dance styles such as Ballet, Contemporary/Jazz Technique, Dance History, and Choreography. The students will also participate in a community building class that addresses cultural, social, and personal development topics.
At the end of camp, the children participate in a Culminating Event to display what they have learned. To continue learning, families receive complimentary tickets to select Miami City Ballet performances in Palm Beach and Miami- Dade as well as potential connections to local training.

The South Miami Summer Dance Camp is funded by The Children’s Trust, a dedicated source of revenue established by voter referendum to improve the lives of children and families in Miami-Dade County by making strategic investments in their future. With the support of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor, and Board of County Commissioners.
