Summers are always a busy time for me. My husband Blake, my dog Sophie and I always hop in the car and drive far and wide across the southern states. This summer we found ourselves in New Orleans. A place where both of our families have vacationed many times, and the location of our honeymoon.
Having a dance studio located in the heart of Miami Beach offers several perks — from walking across the street to dig your feet in the sand and gaze at the ocean, to being able to utilize various modes of transportation to get to work. From bicycles, to scooters, to simply strolling down the sidewalk, MCB dancers get to their ballet classes in a unique, South Beach style!
This week, we welcome corps dancer Nathalia Arja as our guest photographer on Instagram. Nathalia will take us backstage at the Broward Center this weekend for Program IV: Broadway and Ballet, featuring George Balanchine’s wildly entertaining Slaughter on Tenth Avenue and Jerome Robbins’ delightfully beautiful Dances at a Gathering.
